Lauren and Joshua met in August 2019, shortly after Lauren had moved to Lubbock to work as an ER nurse at UMC and Josh moved to Lubbock to work in the lab at Covenant. Lauren was not ready to date, but Josh remained persistent over several weeks! Ultimately, Josh (and Gus!) stole Lauren's heart, and they had their first date at Buffalo Wild Wings.. They have been inseparable ever since.

In their free time, Josh and Lauren enjoy working out at Orange Theory, going to church, and hanging out with friends and family. They love to travel, spend time outdoors, and visit wineries and breweries during their adventures. Frequently, you can catch Lauren being the "ride along girl" at the golf course.

Josh is in his second year in medical school at TTUHSC, and Lauren continues to work as an ER nurse at UMC. They hope to work together in the ER someday!

They have 2 dogs. Gus is Josh's corgi and Harper is Lauren's collie/red heeler mix. They are their whole world!
