How We MetLauren and Richard met in one of the most common ways nowadays: online. Richard and Lauren both signed up for an app called Bumble. For those of you that don't know, Bumble is designed for its users to view pictures and profiles of people in your area and 'swipe' on those you're interested in. Richard swiped on Lauren, indicating that he was interested but, funny enough, Lauren didn't swipe on Rich! Lauren's roommates, Phil and Jess Welke, were looking for potential matches for Lauren and so Phil was the one to 'swipe' on Richard. Being the way the app was designed, Lauren had to make the first move. Maybe it was the picture of Rich on his dad's boat that made her so nervous that the first thing she thought to ask was, "Hey! What's your favorite kind of cheese?". Our FoundationLauren and Richards's relationship has revolved around their shared love for watching baseball games, Packers and Ravens football, working out at the gym, the Office, and a shared love of Christ. Our FutureLauren and Richard are so excited to begin their future lives together with Christ as their center! We pray that God guides us through this earthly life with continued grace to grow in love for Him, as well as each other.
