An Austin classic! Visit the Congress Bridge in downtown Austin 30-60 minutes before sunset to see an estimated at 1.5 million Mexican free-tail bats take off on their nightly flight to eat up the mosquitos!
This park is famous! You can picnic, throw a frisbee, walk around, or our favorite is to park on the far side closest to downtown right above the rock path that takes you down to a walk/bike path along Lake Austin (where this picture was taken)!
This Art Museum is on UT's campus so you could also explore campus while here (we recommend walking to the famous UT tower pictured here) and/or the Bullock Texas State History Museum directly across the street.
This historic downtown hotel is beautiful and an Austin icon! It is on our list to go for afternoon tea!
The Texas State Capitol is a beautiful building to explore and entry is free! We recommend starting on the bottom floor, taking the stairs up to each floor to explore, then from the top taking the elevators down to the basement extension!
A fun, classic Austin photo-op! We recommend walking around famous South Congress street while here for shopping and/or lunch at ABA!
