Both natives to the DMV area, it was only a matter of time before Lauren and Alex crossed paths. After a first date in Old Town and a Nationals Game to follow, they both knew it was time to meet each other's first loves, their dogs. After their dogs gave their sniff of approval, Lauren and Alex knew this was not just a summer fling.

From living in the Palisades together, to trips up and down the east coast and beyond, their love continued to grow. As two people who value family, Alex proposed on July 6, 2024, at Lauren's moms house in Annapolis, with an intimate celebration to follow with close friends and family.
