Our Wedding

Our story is the example of how God will send you the right person at the right time. Judson and I spent majority of our 20s in a season of singleness. We worked on completing our education and pouring ourselves into our careers. Our lives were completely changed on January 17th, 2024. It was a rare icy day in Hattiesburg, MS. I typically worked out during my lunch break with my coworker, Brad, but on this day I decided to go for a walk outside instead. Brad continued with his workout at Crunch where he ran into Judson and had a quite lengthy conversation. My office at the time was getting quotes for a remodel of the building, so Brad told Judson that he may get a better chance of winning the bid if he took his coworker out for a coffee date. So, of course Judson jumped on this. Judson appeared at the office the day after ready to give the bid, but arrived when we weren't there so he made a SECOND trip back to the office. (I remember being so nervous to meet him, so I stayed in the back while Brad talked to him for a while). I finally got the courage to go out to meet this Judson guy, and when I popped out his eyes got SO big and he had the biggest smile on his face. So, we all got to talking and Judson told me he could use some help measuring everything. We talked and talked and talked. I immediately knew something was different about this guy. We split ways and he sent Brad a message saying he needed to come back to remeasure because the ceiling heights were different. (The ceiling heights were not different). So, we spent another afternoon remeasuring AKA chatting and flirting like high school crushes and Judson popped the "Can I take you on a date" question right then and there. Of course I said yes. We spent our first date at Daisy May's favorite park and walked everywhere. Daisy May LOVED Judson from the beginning. We went on several other dates and quickly discovered that there was some special about each other. Our love grew quickly and we both knew the other one was THE ONE early on. When they say "You'll know, when you know" and "They will come when you least expect it", they're right! Our story happened because of God. We truly believe God led us to each other, because our chances of meeting were slim to none. God has blessed us beyond what we deserve and we cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives worshiping the God who created everything, even our love story.
