December 12th 2023... Elliott: Hi Lauren, nice to meet you, I'm Elliott and my friend Mallory said she talked with your mom the other day.Your mom says you're a catch, let's do this. Lol! Lauren: Hi Elliott,Hope you can reel me in. lolSure, let's do this. Elliott: Ok, that's a 10/10 reply right there. Lauren: Thank you. I thought it was "catch"y. We made plans to meetup a few days later, while texting each other before the "big meet"... Elliott saw photos of me that my mom sent to Mallory. He offered to send a picture of himself - I said nah, I'm good.(Yes, I realized this was a risk!) Lauren noticed Elliott wasn't from New Jersey during their messages together. So I sent him a photo with my handwritten markups showing where to park in Jersey City. He said he was impressed. Our first date ~ December 15th, 2023. Lauren arrived at "Low Fidelity" on time, waiting patiently. Elliott was 20 minutes late. He didn't realize how difficult parking was in the area and ended up running from his car to meet me. Lauren's reaction when I first saw Elliott: He had long, curly hair and the most adorable smile. Elliott's reaction when he first met me: She was tall, her eyes were amazing, and had long flowing brown hair. (He claimed that it was dark in the restaurant regarding my hair color) Later in the evening he finally realized that I had red hair and was memorized. We spent hours talking about anything and everything, and were the last people at the restaurant to leave. Ever since we've enjoyed so many adventures and laughs together...
