In January of 2020 (pre-COVID), the destinies of two Packers fans crossed in Lincoln Park, Chicago during the Packers playoffs game. Although a Nebraska native, Nick had been a lifelong Packers fan ever since he got a Brett Favre jersey at a garage sale when he was in 1st grade. Lauren, originally from the Greater Milwaukee Area, WI, was born a Packers fan. Nick and Lauren met at Ranalli's bar and bonded over the Packers as well as their similar careers of physical and occupational therapy. As Lauren left the bar, Nick humbly asked for Lauren's number by saying, "Honestly though, I would really like to take you on a date sometime."

Even though they met 45 minutes from their apartments in Chicago, it was soon discovered that Nick and Lauren only lived 5 blocks from each other. Nick became a dog Dad to Lauren's dog, Frank, they tackled a 14,000 ft mountain together, started brewing beer, crafting cheese boards, and were living the Wisconsin Dream. #GoPackGo
