Our Wedding

In May of 2019, we both began working at Camp Eagle in Fincastle, Virginia. We had never met before although we grew up in the same area and knew a lot of the same people. Greyson started picking on Lauren the first week of camp. He had Lauren’s cousins as two his campers that week and they gave him all kinds of names to call me and told so many stories about me so that he would pick on me! We both continue to grow closer as friends by talking during any free time we had and competing with each other’s cabin groups! Then the Friday night Lauren was leaving for a week to go family vacation Greyson couldn’t stand not to be able to talk to her for 10 days so he causally slid into her insta DMs and asking for her number because “he needed to ask her something about camp”. Lol he most definitely did not have anything to ask about camp. That night we texted until 2am and every night after until Greyson had to turn in his phone for the week! Once Lauren got back from vacation Greyson immediately asked her to hangout and that same night Greyson told Lauren he was going to marry her! Then two short months later Greyson got down on one knee and asked Lauren to spend the rest of her life with him!

Bridesmaids 

Ellie is my college bestie who is also recently engaged!!! We both started college in the middle of the year and at orientation day I was sitting with some other friends I had met and saw Ellie sitting alone so of course I invited her to come sit with us. We then discovered we had SO SO SO much in common!!! I often refer to her as twin! From that day we have been inseparable! CANT WAIT TO BE MARRIED BESTIES AND TAKE ON THE SEASON OF MARRIED LIFE TOGETHER !!! 

Ellie Guenther 

Hannah is one of Greyson’s cousins! We spent a few months together during quarantine going on spur of the moment adventures and building our relationship! Her and Greyson’s relationship are more like brother and sister than cousins! Hannah is one of the most caring souls I have ever met! 

Hannah Dressler 

McKenzie is Greyson's cousin who has also became a great friend of mine!  Greyson and her grew closer as in their relationship during their time at Liberty University! Fun fact: she is also recently engaged! Ever since the first time I met McKenzie she has welcomed me into their family with opens arms! She is the sweetest and most down to earth person you will ever meet! She is truly the definition of a joyful person! 

McKenzie Perkins

Makenzie is my beautiful sister in Christ! We have known each other forever but we did not become super close until we traveled on a mission trip to Guatemala with me! Fun fact: on the mission trip Makenzie I were the only one's with the exception of one or two people there without parents so we adopted our youth pastor and his wife as our mom and dad for the week! Ever since that trip we have called each other sisters! We have experienced so much life together like a wreck in Guatemala, church camps, high school musical marathons, and then working camp together! 

Makenzie Thacker 

Brianna is my other church bestie! She seriously is such a ray of sunshine and source of encouragement in my life! She is a special lovely sister in Christ! We have shared joy, sadness, trials, and burdens together! She truly is someone who always points you to the Lord!

Jacey is my favorite cousin ever!! We have literally known each other since birth! Jacey lived right up the street from me while we were growing up so that meant any snow days or days off from school we spent adventuring around the farm, jumping hay bails, causing trouble in the hay field while our dad's were working, riding our bikes and baking in our easy bake ovens lol!!! Literally growing up with a cousin who was about the same age as me who lived right up the road from me  (she's 9 months older to be exact) was most  definitely one of the best experiences of my childhood!
