Our Wedding

Lauren and Sean's journey to becoming soon-to-be bride and groom began in October of 2021. After weeks of flirtatious eye contact with each other across the gym, Lauren decided she'd had enough of Sean's waiting games and approached him during their evening workout to introduce herself. Phone numbers and text messages were exchanged, and the two went on a couple of dinner dates over the next few months. However, it wasn't until the following May that they really found their spark after they reconnected over a game of disc golf together. It was a summer full of pool days, concerts, trips to the lake, nights out in downtown KC, Betty Rae's ice cream, and a ton of laughter and smiles. Through all of the fun times, Sean and Lauren began to build a connection that ultimately ended in them becoming "official" on August 12th, 2022. Fast forward 3 years, and the love the two share has grown immensely through traveling, renovating a home, completing countless DIY projects, exploring parks and trails with their dog Gibby, trying new restaurants, and indulging in outdoor activities such as playing pickleball and bike rides together. Finally, on May 24th, 2025, they upgraded their title from boyfriend and girlfriend, to Fiances! Sean proposed at Lauren's family's lake house in the Ozarks, which has been a significant part of Lauren's life since childhood, and is now a special place for the both of them. They are so thrilled for their next chapter of their life to begin as husband and wife! They look forward to celebrating with friends and family on May 8th, 2026!
