Lauren met Baxter at OSU. He was a classmate of her best friend Rachel. The first time she saw him, he was at the library wearing a scarf. She will never forget that scarf and the flamboyant touch it gave him. Their friendship grew from that day. Around this point in Lauren's life , she had a toxic crush - we will call him person X. Lauren's friend Rubi told Lauren to date Baxter, because she deserved a better man. But unfortunately, at this point in their friendship Lauren considered Baxter more of a brother. Finally something clicked in Lauren's brain and she kinda liked Baxter. Rachel forced Lauren and Baxter to talk to each other about their feelings where they discovered their undying love for each other. The story has been uphill ever since. They got engaged in AZ during a hike. Baxter told Lauren to look up to see an Eagle.
