Parker and Lauren met in their 6th grade gym class and stayed good friends throughout middle school. Their friendship became a little more flirty as they almost dated freshman year of high school until Lauren moved to a different school and the timing wasn't right then.Two weeks before they went off to college, Parker came to Lauren's graduation party and that's when the spark they had years ago came back. The following day they went on their first date and spent almost every day together leading up to moving to college. It may not have been an ideal start to their relationship being 4 hours away from each other, but they made it work with lots of facetime calls, long drives on weekends, and making the most of the time they did have together. The long distance continued the rest of college, and the two of them supported each other through various seasons of life, including busy college baseball seasons, difficult nursing and engineering courses, graduations, first jobs, and the simple moments in between.In the fall of 2024, Parker surprised Lauren with a sweet proposal in Blue Ridge, GA, and since then have been enjoying their season of engagement as they prepare for marriage!
