We met in the way a lot of couples meet nowadays, online. What makes us unique is that we had actually talked on other dating apps years prior. But, due to life circumstances, we never met in person. In January 2023, Lauren saw Jason’s profile and knew we talked before, but still thought he was cute and messaged him first. Now here we are! Our first date was on February 9,2023 at Kid Shelleen’s in Branmar Plaza. Lauren resisted getting the Nachos for fear of making a mess on the first date, but the conversation flowed and we continued our date to Wilmington Brew Works.

Jason has learned how to be a cat dad to Watson, to call the Delaware beaches “the beach” and not “the shore”, what it’s like to have a beach family, and has eaten more ice cream in the past 2+ years than he’s probably eaten in his life.

Lauren learned all she could ever care to know about sports, especially when it comes to the Phillies, that while Cape Henlopen has her heart, the “shore” is pretty fun, and listened to a lot of Bruce Springsteen along the way.

Together, we both love reading nights, hanging out at the pool or beach, making s’mores, going to sporting events, and overall just spending time with each other.
