There is about a 2 hour break before cocktail hour begins. Guest cannot stay at CityFlats during this time. Please visit the “Things To Do” section for our fun recommendations!

Yes! There will be a shuttle from the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel to bring you back to the venue for cocktail hour. First pickup will be at 4:00pm, second pickup will be at 4:15pm. Cocktail hour begins at 5pm, but this will give you time to grab a quick drink at a nearby bar beforehand! Shuttles will return at the end of the reception to bring you back to the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel. First return pickup will be at 11:05pm, final pickup will be at 11:20pm. Our driver’s name is Greg from Preferred Charters!

For cocktail hour, we have reserved the outdoor bar/tiki barge at CityFlats (located right outside on the venue deck). The tiki barge bar will close after cocktail hour, but the deck will remain open throughout our wedding for anyone who needs a breath of fresh air. The bar inside the ballroom will be open as well for the entire cocktail hour and reception. Drinks are on us!

Although we love your little ones, our special day is reserved for adults (age 21 and up) only. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

We are only able to accommodate those who were given a formal invitation. If your invitation indicates a plus one/guest, it will prompt you to add their name and select their meal choice when you RSVP. If no additional prompt appears, then only your presence is requested.

Yes, the vault will be open for entrance and pictures! However, this is a historical landmark (our venue is located inside the historical Michigan National Bank). We kindly ask that you do not touch the safe deposit boxes.

Yes, CityFlats Hotel and Ballroom has two parking lots located directly behind the building. There is additional parking across the street.

Unfortunately, many hotels limit the number of rooms available for reservation in a block, especially during peak/busy seasons! If you’re interested in staying at one of our listed accommodations, please still book outside of the room block if needed. We want you to be able to have the best time celebrating with us!
