When I graduated RIT, I decided to move to Nashville, knowing not one soul in the city. Fortunately along the way, I was able to convince my best friend, James to uproot his life in Greensboro, NC to join me. Together we braved the life of two bachelors trying to navigate life in our 20s. When (Matron of Honor), Lauren Grimmer started at Lipman Brothers, I saw an opportunity to expand James and I's friend group. We would all go to trivia, host wine nights, and throw in the occasional Quiplash game. Occasionally, Lauren Grimmer would be accompanied by Lauren Henderson who could light up a room by how breathtaking she was. The first time meeting Lauren, I was taken aback by not only her humor, but her love of life and Jesus. Her verve and enthusiasm drew me in and I knew after leaving wine night that night, she had to be mine! Fast forward through 3 months of non-stop courting that included lavish meals and fun day time excursions, I convinced her to be my girlfriend.

After celebrating our 2 year anniversary of dating, I look back and note how easy life is with Lauren. The Lord has blessed me in many ways, and I thank Him every night that He has placed Lauren in my life. Lauren is my motivation and my muse. I look forward to spending the rest of our lives together glorifying God, and drinking wine.
