Our paths crossed for the second time at this trendy, Wicker Park rooftop for an impromptu celebration of Lauren's 24th birthday... and we've been inseparable ever since!

On our first date (7.9.18), we had dinner on the rooftop patio at Fountainhead in Ravenswood.

In addition to the massive patio, cool interior, summer drink pitchers, and garbage can beer pong... we love it because we planned our trip to Paris (!!!) and later celebrated our engagement with our families here.
We would highly recommend stopping by on a sunny afternoon while you're in town.

Why we love this spot:

You can't go wrong in Pilsen - we love doing date nights in this area. The tamales at 5 Rabanitas are almost as good as the fact that it's BYOB.

Hot tip: grab a bottle of tequila & some nasty, lime green margarita mix from the stop & shop around the corner while you wait for a table...

Our favorite Restaurant Week spot in 2019. Everything is amazing - the Spanish wine, the hummus, the rooftop bar, the hummus, the views of the skyline, the HUMMUS. (Can you guess who chose this spot?!)

We celebrated our first Valentine's Day here, but could only afford the pizza because we did so much traveling during the Spring of 2019. Please order better than we did - this place deserves it.
