Matthew van Scoyk (AKA Matt Vann)...Not much I need to say about him, anyone who knows me should know him. Matt is hilarious, outgoing, oozes charisma, and has always been there for me. We grew up together, lived together, had a great college experience together...we've done everything together. When not in the ocean getting barreled on his surf board, you might find Matt pursuing his other passion acting.

The sister of the bride is currently studying her passion of music at California State University Channel Islands. She is also following the footsteps of her sister working at Shave It. She is witty, pretty, and single.

Jon and I have been friends since kindergarten...that is a long time. I think we were sitting in this section of concrete pipe on the Acacia Elementary playground and I said "Want to be friends" and so it was...Jonathan is an accomplished musician, academic, athlete, and a great man. He recently returned from living abroad in the United Kingdom where he completed a Master's in Science & Technology. He will be starting his PhD at UCSD in the Fall.

Kiani is the cousin of the bride who lives with the Hicks ohana from time to time. She enjoys eating, sleeping, and serving the best bagels in the world at Western Bagel. She is like the second sister Lauren never had.

Courtney and Lauren have known each other since the second grade. They both enjoy doing old lady things together such as crafting and thrifting. Courtney also has the ability to make a dull room a little more sparkly.

Greg and I have been friends from childhood. He has always been one to challenge me and call me out when I'm talking about something (of which I know nothing) like an expert...I like to think I do the same for him. Greg is an associate at Griffin Industries, an extremely well read scholar, an avid outdoorsman, and all around stud.

Chelsea is one of the smartest people Lauren knows who teaches 5th grade to seniors in high school. She currently lives in Atlanta with her hubby and cat, but will soon be returning back to the sunshine state to add another degree to the list while making babies all at the same time.

I met Tomo through Yuhki (his brother) and we instantly realised we were kindred spirits. Tomo and I have a tendancy to giggle a lot when we get together. An alternative back story is that I'm his dad; I'm very proud of my son...An Environmental Consultant, guitar guru, and toy collector (his main claim to fame).

Julie is half asian so it was evident her and Lauren became friends while meeting in 7th grade Home Ec. class. They both share a fondness for boba, Disneyland and maybe Taylor Swift. Julie currently works for Petunia Pickle Bottom where Lauren will be able to purchase all adorable baby things!

Yuhki's middle name is Sean, so naturally we get along like two peas in a pod. Yuhki and I have been friends for quite some time originally bonding over our love for martial arts. Yuhki is an outstanding artist, knife collector, and he has the ability to put a smile on anyone's face.

Lauren thought Lexi was the prettiest girl while Lexi thought Lauren was well, Lauren. Lauren invited her to the first Twilight premiere and they still continue seeing trilogy movies to this day. Lexi manages to teach and choreograph dance, counsel at a grief support center, and go to grad school for Marriage and Counseling.

Ryan Hicks is an outstanding dude...Obviously, Lauren's brother, he is also one of my best friends. He is witty, extremely kind, caring and above all he is made of steel (literally). When he isn't busy putting pen to paper (aspiring fiction writer), Ryan has been known to walk around on his arms (you know to keep is upper body strong).

Lilly and Lauren go back to their Anthropologie days of spending all their paycheck on clothing and volunteering at Los Robles Hospital. They still enjoy shopping, doing yoga, but are no longer interested in being in a hospital. Lilly is currently in grad school for Marriage and Counseling. Seems like Lauren will have a lot of help from her friends...

Erik and I became friends when I took up residence in his home and it was funny how quickly we bonded. Erik and I enjoy doing pretty much anything and everything together-Cycling (I'm faster), Hiking, Movies, "Go," Indian Food...lots of things in common is what I'm getting at. Erik is an accomplished IT professional and graphic designer, he currently runs the production house for his family's printing business.
