Monument Circle in the center of downtown Indy and has come to symbolize the city of Indianapolis and the state of Indiana.

The Canal Walk is part of the Indiana Central Canal, which serves the downtown community as a waterside promenade for walkers, runners, bikers and sightseers. Pedal boats may also be rented west of the Indiana State Museum.
