Lauren and Gerrads story began in Rolla, MO, where they both attended college at Missouri S&T. In the spring semester of 2022, both were placed in the same class. Gerrad noticed Lauren across the room and couldn’t resist taking a chance, so he sent her a message asking for her Snapchat.


From that day forward, they talked every day, quickly building a connection that grew into a deep and meaningful relationship. Their first date was an incredible evening ice skating, filled with laughter. Two more dates followed, each bringing them closer together, until Gerrad asked Lauren to be his girlfriend, officially beginning their love story.


Early in their relationship, Gerrad knew in his heart that Lauren was the one he wanted to spend his life with. Her kindness, laughter, and the way she made every moment feel special left him with no doubt that she was meant to be his wife. Lauren felt the same about Gerrad. From the way Gerrad cared for her, how he made her laugh, and how naturally they fit together, she knew they were destined to share a lifetime of love and happiness.


From the start, they’ve embraced joy in the simplest of moments and discovered just how much they love being with one another. Whether it’s quiet evenings at home, fun outings, or playful, goofy moments that keep them laughing, Lauren and Gerrad know their happiest place is by each other’s side.


On December 24th, 2024, Gerrad proposed to Lauren on his family farm. It was a heartfelt moment they will treasure forever. Now, as they prepare for their wedding day, Lauren and Gerrad are thrilled to share their story with loved ones and celebrate the beginning of their forever!
