We recommend booking your airfare and accommodations AS SOON AS FEASIBLE for your party. It's a holiday weekend AND graduation season in Richmond; so prices are rising and hotels are booking up.

We recommend booking hotels through 3rd party sites like booking.com and hotels.com. We looked at getting hotel blocks, but the "discounts" were more expensive than booking through 3rd parties and really not a good deal.

Nitin, Lauren, and their family will be staying at The Commonwealth, but there are a ton of hotels in the Richmond area at multiple price points.

We also recommend exploring AirBnBs as good options. The farther you go from city center and "Downtown Richmond," the less walkable, but more affordable the hotels and lodgings will be.

We will have transportation from The Commonwealth to and from the ceremony location.

Please note that there are closer hotels to the venue itself, but they are not close to anything walkable; so we are staying in Downtown Richmond and commuting to the venue.

There are several options for traveling in from out of state:

Airports:

- Richmond International Airport | RIC

(Closest; ~15 min drive to Downtown Richmond)

- Washington Regan National Airport | DCA

(~1 hour 40 min drive to Downtown Richmond)

- Dulles International Airport | IAD

(~1 hour 40 min drive to Downtown Richmond)

We don't recommend flying into BWI (Baltimore, MD) which is a pretty long drive; 2 hours and 11 minutes.

- To the Commonwealth Hotel
