What would a wedding be without it's first hiccup? On your RSVP cards, we have asked you to respond to us by the 5th-26th January. However the invites took that loooong to reach us we would like to extend this deadline to 16th February Please can we ask that you make this as stress free for us as possible by responding to us by this date, unfortunately if we have not heard back from you by the 26th January we will presume that you will not be attending.

Timings for the day. The ceremony begins at 1pm, we would like the day guests to arrive at the venue by the latest of 12.30pm. For the evening guests, the party begins at 7pm, please arrive promptly.

Booking a room. We would love for as many of our guests to stay over at the venue to be able to enjoy a breakfast with us the next morning as well to finish off the celebrations. Please ring Owston Hall on 01302722800 and quote 'Lauren and Joel's wedding' for a discounted rate. If you do forget to mention it is for the wedding you will be unable to book a room as we have made the venue exclusive to just our guests. Payment of rooms. Please can you let Lauren or Joel (probably Lauren) know if you have booked a room as payment will be sent directly to Lauren and Joel as the rooms have been booked under their bank details due to the exclusivity part. Payment will be asked in full by May 29th 2026 please. Lauren and Joel will be in touch with anyone regarding payment closer to the time.

Pets. While the venue does allow pets, we kindly ask for them to stay at home.

Song requests. We do have various entertainment including a DJ throughout our wedding, however we would love to incorporate your favourite song into our special day too, so please send across one song request per person if you wish.

An adults only celebration. We do wish for our special day to be an adults only celebration, it isn't that we don't love your children we really do. We just think that parents deserve a day/night off to let their hair down and enjoy every minute.

Plus ones. As we are only allowed a certain amount of guests throughout the day, we kindly ask that the invitations are limited to the guests named. If you do have any questions around this then please do get in touch with either Lauren or Joel (probably Lauren) to discuss further.
