Although Joe and Lauren both attended Plattsburgh, their paths never crossed during their time there. Fate, however, had other plans. In early 2020, just before the world changed, they met at The Jetty, and little did they know that encounter would lead to everything. Fast forward to Memorial Day weekend of that year, when they spent the entire weekend together—and that’s where their love story truly began.At the time, Lauren was living in Clifton Park, and Joe would visit her every weekend. That summer, Lauren found herself spending more and more time in Long Beach, and by the end of it, she knew it was where she wanted to be. Lauren landed a new job, packed up her bags, and made the move to Long Beach. Coincidentally, their leases ended at the same time, and they moved in together. After a few moves, they finally found a place that felt like home with a year-long lease.Three years later, their lives took a beautiful turn when they found out Lauren was pregnant with a baby girl. Joe, ever the planner, decided it was time for the next big step and proposed to Lauren in February 2023 during a trip to Islamorada, Florida. Just a few months later, they welcomed their daughter, Emma, into the world on August 9, 2023.Now, as they stand on the threshold of this next chapter, they can't wait to officially become a family and tie the knot!
