Lauren met Kelsey in the 5th grade after Kelsey switched schools. Long story short, Lauren asking Kelsey to play on the playground was one of the best decisions she has ever made. They have been best friends ever since that day. Kelsey has lived in NYC for the past 6 years but this physical distance has never changed their relationship as they will always have an inseperable bond. They always joke that Chet is their 3rd wheel when they all get to be together which will remain true even after they are married.

Lauren met Morgan at Valparaiso University where they also completed PA school together. Their similar lives and values led to a special, one of a kind friendship that has only continued to grow since leaving college. Morgan has a heart of gold - being around her is always enjoyable. They have continued to make an effort to spend time together with both Chet and Morgan's husband, Matt. They get antsy to spend time together after only a few weeks apart.

Marina is engaged to Lauren's brother, Mike. She has been a part of their family for the past decade and has always been an important person in Lauren's life. Life would not be the same without her and her energetic, fun-loving nature. She has also been present during Lauren's relationship with Chet since the very beginning and has always been supportive of them as people and as a couple, which means the world to them.

Melissa is one of Chet's younger sisters. Her kind, loving nature has always helped to make Lauren feel welcomed in their family. She brightens up every room she is in so Lauren is looking forward to having her around throughout their lives. She is especially happy to have her as a sister.

Michelle is also one of Chet's younger sisters. She is currently living in Arizona so seeing her is fairly infrequent but it is a joy watching her live and enjoy life from afar. Michelle is adventurous and always has something funny and/or interesting to say. Her energy is contagious. Lauren is happy to be gaining her as a sister.

Ashley has been a loyal, genuine friend since Lauren was in the 3rd grade. They even got to play volleyball together in high school which is something they will always cherish. Their similar personalities and lifestyles make it easy for them to always pick up where they left off, no matter the time in between. Ashley is always someone that Lauren can count on. Life is simply better with Ashley in it.

Andrew has always been like a brother to Chet. Mostly because they are brothers but more importantly, because of the relationship that they share. Andrew has taught Chet patience (more so than anybody needs) but also compassion. The love that Chet has for his younger brother may not always be expressed in words or in actions but it is always there. As Andrew continues to grow as a young professional, Chet continues to admire his success in Andrew's career and personal developments.

Chet and Matt became friends during Lauren's time in PA school. Lauren's best friend at Valparaiso University (and her Matron of Honor), Morgan Boris, was dating Matt at the time. While Lauren and Morgan were wasting their days away studying for exams, Matt and Chet spent their evenings on date nights. Matt and Chet have continued their friendship as Morgan and Lauren have left school behind and started their careers.

Mike is Lauren's older brother and similar in age to Chet. Even if Chet won't admit he was a bit intimidated by Mike when he and Lauren first started dating, Mike has always been extremely welcoming and has treated Chet as a friend instead of his younger sister's boyfriend. Mike and Chet have since developed a friendship worthy of being brothers, even if it is just "in-law".

Chet met Ross in 6th grade and, even though he's not always sure why, they have been best of friends ever since. Even though Chet and Ross were both tied up in their college sports, they never lost touch and have become even closer as their lives move along parallel journeys through school, work, and their relationships.

Nick and Chet have been friends for as long as Chet can remember. Spending hours together in the car on the way to hockey games, on the golf course, or the downtime in between, Nick and Chet grew up closer together than most brothers would. Nick's family has always made Chet feel like family and he couldn't be more grateful for everything along the way. Nick's father once told them in the waiting area of the Lakeview Square Mall Applebee's that, "No matter what happens in your lives, you two will always be best friends" and that has been true, no matter the distance or time between them.

Mickey and Chet grew up close enough that they just told people they were family because no other description would have made sense. Mickey's parents introduced Chet's parents to each other so the two of them have known each other since birth. Growing up playing baseball together (and, at times, against each other), they spent a lot of time together. Mickey and his family always made Chet feel like he was a part of theirs.
