What should I wear?
It's Florida the first weekend in May, so it's likely going to be quite warm. We recommend wearing breathable formal attire, light colored pants, shirts, and breezy dresses. The ceremony will be outside on the grass, cocktail hour will be on the pergola, and the reception is inside, which will be air conditioned. The color scheme is dark green, blush pinks and beige with fun florals and festive patterns for a Florida garden party aesthetic.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, there will be an open bar with two bartenders. There will be a cocktail hour after the ceremony followed by an open bar reception. We'll be serving wine, beer, cocktails, and speciality His & Hers drinks.
What’s on the menu?
We will have a selection of four passed appetizers during cocktail hour after the ceremony. Dinner will be buffet style featuring baked basa, tomato basil penne, and a roast beef carving station. Dessert will be key lime, espresso and amaretto cake cups along with a white french vanilla wedding cake.

Are there other places to stay close by?
In addition to our two hotels where we have blocks, there is a Courtyard by Marriott right in downtown Bradenton and an array of beachy hotels along Bradenton Beach and Anna Maria Island if you want to stay closer to the Gulf. There are multiple Airbnb options currently available for the wedding weekend right on Bradenton Beach if you prefer a larger space to share with family and friends. The shuttle service will be picking up at the two hotels where we have blocks, so just be sure to be at a pickup point if you elect to leverage the transportation services.
Is there reliable ride app service in Bradenton?
Yes, we have leveraged Uber in the Bradenton area before and we've had no trouble getting a ride. Ride apps are a great option for getting to the beach and around the area while visiting for the weekend.
Is there a beauty salon nearby?
If you want to get your hair done on the morning of the wedding, there are three hair salons all in downtown Bradenton that are open on Saturday by appointment. BC Cutters is only 82 feet from the hotel, Uptown Downtown is .03 miles from the hotel and Salon 22 is .09 miles from the hotel.
