Thomas & I grew up roughly 12 miles apart & met at the ages of 23 & 24; we couldn't be more grateful for the timing of it all. He had extended his hand out for a dance at our friend's wedding reception--which was the beginning of us :)

Being that we are both high school & college rivals, it created enough banter between the two of us as a foundation. The SDSU v NDSU football game was nearing, & Thomas reached out to ask me on a date; he proposed the loser would buy the drinks ;) the affection & safety I felt with Thomas was immediate & palpable--we have not gone a week without seeing each other since our first date <3
