Our Wedding

Saturday, May 15, 2021, the night that changed our lives forever! Lauren was attending a party for her best friend's brother's engagement. Her best friend's older brother had just proposed to Seth's cousin Sarah! Once Seth arrived to the party, Lauren noticed him instantly and couldn't wait to be introduced. After some cocktails and a hilarious introduction, Seth and Lauren finally met, and our first date was just one week later :). We connected instantly, and have been pretty much inseparable ever since. Four years later, we are building the life we have always dreamed of. This past year we bought our dream house with the most perfect little park in the backyard where we constantly dream about our future kids getting to play. This same park is where we got engaged on December 22, 2024. Who would have thought that we would find the loves of our lives at our cousin's and best friend's brother's engagement party? It's safe to say we will forever be grateful for that special night that truly did change our lives forever. We are so lucky for this life we get to build together, and can't wait to celebrate with our closest friends and family at our upcoming wedding! Thank you for being a part of it!

To all our wonderful out-of-town guests—thank you so much for traveling to Houston to celebrate our special day with us! We’re so grateful for your presence and hope you enjoy exploring the city. We’ve put together a list of some of our favorite spots to eat, drink, and spend the day—enjoy!

One of our favorite places for breakfast tacos, croissant breakfast sandwiches, and iced coffee! Make sure to grab a churro or alfajores on your way out!

You can't come to Houston without getting your fill of Texas BBQ! Pinkerton's Barbecue is by far Seth's favorite in HTX. We definitely recommend the brisket, ribs, and mac &amp; cheese.

We can't give restaurant recs without including NY Deli! Our families both grew up going to the bagel shop and it holds so many special memories for us both! Their bagels, home fries (extra crispy!), and matzo ball soup are THE best!

If you have a free night in Houston, Anvil is one of our favorite bars (and actually was supposed to be our first date spot. A story for another time haha!). Lots of cool cocktails and near great restaurants! A great date spot!

Under the Volcano is great if you want a small bite and drink with friends! They have great tacos, chips &amp; queso, and empanadas. Lauren's drink rec is their frozen screwdriver and Seth's is their carajillo!

If you have a free night for dinner, we HAVE to recommend our favorite dinner restaurant in Houston, Le Colonial. It is SO delicious and means so much to us. We've had many a date night, anniversary, and Valentine's celebrations at this spot. Not to mention the fact that this is where we celebrated the night of our engagement! Make sure to get the fried rice, egg rolls, and salmon. You will NOT be disappointed!

Great trails for walking, hiking, and getting into nature in the city! Seth spends lots of time in Memorial Park, specifically at the driving range. We also recommend ending your visit with a mini milk shake at the Beck's Prime on the golf course!
