Like so many modern love stories, ours started with a swipe.

In the summer of 2020, we both picked up the same quarantine hobby – Bumble. Our relationship soon became real, and time spent together made even a global pandemic seem insignificant. What began as a summer romance quickly grew into something deeper, and by the time fall arrived we found ourselves facing something harder than a nationwide shutdown – a long-distance relationship.

For the next four and a half years, we lived in different cities, building our love across screens, state lines, and time zones. We became pros at scheduling calls, planning weekend visits, and cherishing every minute we had together. There were certainly challenges, but there was also joy, laughter, and a well-worn suitcase that carried us through it all. From 543 miles, to 926, to 1,625 – and finally, to 0. Every mile, every wait, every “goodbye-for-now” was worth it, because it led us here.

We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this next chapter with the people who have loved, supported, and rooted for us along the way. Thank you for cheering us on – through college classes, career moves, football games, and everything in between.

Each of you has played a meaningful role in our story, and we truly can't thank you enough. We look forward to seeing you and celebrating this special day together!
