Where is the ceremony?
The ceremony is going to be in the back pasture at the Wedding Barn in Pangburn, AR. There will be people helping to make sure you get where you need to go whenever you enter the barn!
Where is the reception?
We will be moving inside the barn for the reception! This is a large and beautiful, open space perfect for mingling, eating, and of course, dancing!
Can I bring a +1?
I have tried my best to make sure that I have correct names down for your plus one on the RSVP. If you do not see the name of your plus one listed, please send me a message!
What should I wear?
We are doing semi-formal attire for the wedding. We also welcome our guests to wear bright and beautiful colors to match our wildflower theme! If you are unsure if your attire will work, feel free to ask!
What will the weather be like?
Early September can still be a bit toasty outside, but we are hoping to just get the start of that nice fall weather! I don't think you will have to worry about grabbing a coat. Fingers-crossed, we wont have to deal with any rain, but in the case it does arise, we will move the ceremony inside.
Where do we park?
There is a large gravel driveway and parking lot leading up to the barn. You are welcome to park along the sides of the driveway leading up to the venue.
What time should we arrive?
We ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes early to make sure you have enough time to walk down to the pasture and find your seat. This way, the bride can make her way down without being seen prior to walking down the aisle. The ceremony will begin promptly at 6pm!
Can I take pictures during the ceremony/post on social media?
We are having an unplugged ceremony. This means that we ask you to refrain from taking your phone out to take any pictures or video during the ceremony. The couples has paid a lot of money to hire a professional photographer for this intimate moment. And as a photographer herself, Lauren understands how frustrating and time consuming it can be to edit phones out of those expensive pictures. You are, however, completely welcome to take photos during the reception! We even encourage it and will have a link that you can send your pictures to. We do ask though, that no pictures are shared of the bride and groom on social media until they have had the chance to make their post.
What happens between the ceremony and reception?
We will be taking family pictures and bride + groom pictures directly after the ceremony. This hour gap will be known as social hour and all of our guests who aren't taking pictures are welcome to go into the barn for charcuterie snacks while we wait for the reception to start at 7:30pm.
What food will be served and what if I have dietary restrictions?
We are serving Ian + Lauren's favorite food, pasta, for dinner! We will have three different types of penne pasta: meaty marinara, chicken alfredo, and pesto (vegetarian), along with caesar salad, and garlic bread. We will also have charcuterie set up at the tables that you are welcome to graze on throughout the evening. We will have tea, lemonade, and water available to drink. This will be an ALCOHOL FREE wedding. If you have any dietary restrictions that would be a concern, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can try and help find accommodations!
What time is the reception scheduled to end?
The reception is scheduled to end at 9:30pm! We will also have a fake sparkler exit earlier in the evening to make sure as many people can see us off before they have to head out. We understand if you have to leave early with it being a Sunday night. And then we are coming back inside to dance the night away!
We have questions that haven’t been addressed here – who should we contact?
Leading up to the wedding, you are welcome to message Lauren with any questions you have at (870) 565-2931. But on the big day, please refrain from messaging the bride. If any questions may arise on the day of the wedding, you can reach out to the mother of the bride, Jaime at (870) 215-7474.
