Our Wedding

You’ve heard of high school sweethearts but what about elementary school sweethearts? That’s our story…well sort of. Meeting in 1st grade and living just minutes apart, we became fast friends even with Colin asking Lauren to stop humming within the first few days of meeting (according to Lauren). Best friends forever, Colin was able to escape the friend zone in our junior year of college. Through long distance, way too much school, five moves in six years, and adopting the most sensitive dog you’ll ever meet, we are excited to finally do what is always recommended….marry your best friend.

Wedding Party

Hotel Syracuse is in downtown Syracuse and about 15 minutes from the wedding venue. Shuttle service from the venue will be provided back to the hotel after the reception. Afterparty will be at Shaughnessy's Irish Pub which is attached to the hotel! Please use the link provided below to book your room at the block rate. Must reserve by 9/3/2024 to receive the block rate.

Marriott Syracuse Downtown

This hotel is only about 5 minutes from the wedding venue. There is not a reservation block so be sure to book early if you choose this hotel. Shuttle service will not be provided as the afterparty will be downtown at Shaughnessy's Pub on the bottom floor of Hotel Syracuse.

The Craftsman Inn & Suites

SHUTTLE   To the venue: A shuttle will not be provided to the venue but it’s about a 15 minute drive/Uber ride from Hotel Syracuse and the Syracuse area in general.   From the venue: We will have a shuttle leaving the venue at 10:15pm for any who want a ride to return to Hotel Syracuse. The bus fits about 40 people. The party will continue at Shaughnessy’s (connected to the hotel) for any who want to join!   Expect a big yellow school bus!

Travel

SkaneatelesExperience the beautiful area of Syracuse or the much more beautiful area of Skaneateles, about a 25 minute drive from Syracuse with great restaurants, boutique shopping, and lake views. Skaneateles Brewery and Anyela’s Winery are our personal favorites. Elephant and the Dove, Lakehouse Pub, and Doug’s Fish Fry are great places for a bite to eat. Beak and Skiff Apple OrchardVisit America’s number one apple orchard voted by USA Today for a lovely day of apple picking, cider donuts, and specialty drinks. Green Lakes State ParkTake in the fall foliage with a walk around Syracuse’s own “Great Lake.”
