Lauren and Steve met in the fall of 2022 at an event hosted by Lauren’s prior law firm. The two had instant chemistry, but it wasn’t the right time for them so they parted ways. However, they found their way back to each other a year later and had their first date (although Lauren wasn’t totally sure if it was a date or networking at first). It was an amazing first date that they didn’t want to end, even after going to 4 different spots throughout the night! Then, after 3 more amazing dates, Steve took off for a month-long trip to Europe and Baltimore for Thanksgiving. And of course, the day before Steve flew home, Lauren took off for a trip to Paris with her sister. Despite Steve and Lauren being separated for 5 whole weeks (never again), they managed to FaceTime nearly everyday. When Lauren finally made it back from her trip, Steve even picked her up from LAX (somehow fitting her luggage in his 911)! As any Angeleno knows, that’s true love. After such a ridiculously long time apart, the two have spent nearly everyday day together for the last couple of years, with many adventures along the way. The couple has fallen more in love each passing day and feel blessed to have found each other since they now can’t imagine their lives without one another. In April 2025, the couple bought their first house, and got engaged during a trip to Japan in March 2025. Steve and Lauren can’t wait to start their lives together as husband and wife, and are look forward to celebrating with friends and family.
