Lauren moved to West Chester from Bethlehem PA in 2015. Rob was born and raised in Garnet Valley which is about 15 minutes from West Chester. After a few years of living the single life, Rob and Lauren matched on Hinge – a popular dating app at the time. After a short online conversation, Rob asked Lauren “is it too soon to ask you out?” They met for drinks a few nights later at Mercato, an Italian restaurant in West Chester. Their first date was on October 31st … football season. That night, Rob remembers Lauren explaining to him that she is “what do you call it … a fan?” of the Giants. He also remembers thinking how beautiful she is. Lauren recalls thinking Rob was somewhat mysterious as a man of only a few words … of course this only made her more intrigued. That night, Rob walked Lauren to her car where Lauren thanked him for dinner even though they only had drinks. On her way out of West Chester, Rob claims that Lauren almost ran him over as she drove by – this is still up for debate. After a few more dates, Lauren knew this was the man she could see herself marrying. Naturally, it took Rob a little longer to come to that realization. He does remember thinking she was “the one” when she texted him to have a good day one morning – realizing that she genuinely cared.

Together they navigated dating through hectic work schedules – Rob traveling out of town for work and Lauren working long hours and many weekends at the hospital. They grew closer during the pandemic spending many weekend nights cooking together, playing rummy, and drinking wine. Finally, realizing that living together would be the next step in their relationship. So Lauren packed up the cats and moved into Rob’s place in Glen Mills. In December 2021, Rob proposed to Lauren in one of their favorite spots – Key West!

Lauren and Rob can’t wait to make it official! They are looking forward to spending the best day of their lives celebrating with you!!
