Where will the wedding be?
The wedding will be outside at Bryce's family's cabin in Idaho. (...the picture on the home page? That's the view from the cabin!)
What should I wear?
Just wear what you would wear to any other formal wedding! The average temperature in September in Idaho is about 75 degrees during the day and 65 at night. However, the mountains can get cold, so bring a light jacket just in case. Blankets will be available if needed, and we will have a bonfire going, as well.
There's no way I can make it out to Idaho. Does that mean I will miss all the celebration?
No! We know that attending a wedding so far away is a huge undertaking. We greatly appreciate those who will make the trip out to enjoy our special day with us. But we also completely understand why others may not be able to come. Included in everyone's invitation is a postcard. If you are unable to attend the wedding, please write us a little note and send it on its way to Idaho! Bryce's family will collect them as they are mailed in and will give them to us to read on the day of our wedding. For those who are closer to VA, we will have a reception/dinner sometime in October or November in Richmond. During this dinner, will watch our wedding video so that those who couldn't make it can watch the ceremony and hear our vows. Afterwards, it will be just like any other reception. No matter which event you come to, know that we cherish each and every one of you!
