Our Wedding

Ben and I are a true Hinge success story! We met for lunch at a cozy spot called Whiskey Kitchen, but what was supposed to be a casual date turned into an unforgettable adventure. We ended up at a country concert later that night, and from that moment on, we never looked back! Since then, we have added our loving, hole digging puppy Sadie to the mix. Lauren left her city apartment behind to move in with Ben in their “country” (in her words) house. Life has been quite busy since we met two years ago, but we never hesitate to grab the occasional fancy dinner,&nbsp; get out on a motorcycle ride, take a walk in a nearby park, or travel somewhere new for a weekend. What started out as a one day escapade has blossomed into a lifelong adventure together.

We expect the weekend to be filled with familiar faces and encourage you to collaborate with others to share accommodations and rental cars, making the most of your time together.The closest airport is Charlottesville-Albemarle (CHO), and while there are plenty of great places to stay, we recommend booking an Airbnb or Bed &amp; Breakfast within 20 minutes of Lovingston Winery.

Our wedding venue, <a href="https://www.lovingstonwinery.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Lovingston Winery</a> is located just off of route 29, and is also quite close to route 151. Both of these roadways have tons of restaurants, wineries, breweries, hiking trails, and shops to explore. In addition to these activities, the <a href="https://www.blueridgeparkway.org/about-the-parkway/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Blue Ridge Parkway</a> is nearby if you’d like to take advantage of a scenic drive with gorgeous overlooks. The suggestions below include some places we have been, and some that we haven’t but found conveniently located to where you might be staying. You can find many more places to shop and eat in Charlottesville,VA, which is about a 40 minute drive from Lovingston, VA.
