Lauren and Sam met in Aggieland in 2016. They were both part of an organization called Carpool. Almost as soon as they met each other, they spent all of their spare time with the one another. After dating for 6 weeks, Lauren ditched Sam hard and flew off to Ireland. It totally backfired when Lauren spent the next 10 weeks wasting all of her energy missing Sam. When they were reunited life was much better again with Lauren graduating later that year in 2016. Lauren then ditched Sam once more and moved to Dallas for 2 years. Lauren was even dumber for this, and spent even MORE time missing Sam. Once Sam graduated they knew they couldn't be apart ever again and moved to Austin together. They started their new life in Austin shortly before the world put it on pause. That did not stop them for long though as later that year in 2020 they went on to buy a house and get engaged. Although the pandemic may have slowed them down a little, they spent their days making up for lost time... and playing fetch with their wildly cute dog.

Our Story

We have booked this charter service for guests staying at Hotel Indigo and the Holiday Inn Express ON 805 NECHES ST ONLY. The charter will take guests staying at these hotels to and from the wedding. It will pick guests up in front of the Indigo at 3:45p. (the Holiday Inn is within walking distance.) There are 48 spots on this charter so if you would like to use this, please RSVP to this. The charter will not be going to the Holiday Inn in Dripping Springs, so we encourage any guests staying there to Uber or find a designated driver! Please note that this is first come first serve and if the charter fills to capacity we will reach out to you if you will need to find your own mode of transportation.

$20 parking- we have a room block for 15 rooms, please request the Lauren Petrey and Sam Moody Wong wedding.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Austin Downtown - University, an IHG Hotel

We do not have a room block for this hotel. It is closest to the venue, but we encourage you to use one of the other hotels as we have blocks at both of the hotels in downtown Austin.

Sarah is Lauren's sister and Sam's friend. She is generous, funny, and honestly just so cool. She has an adventurer's heart and hopefully will take Lauren and Sam with her to experience the world.

Erin and Sam became friends at the start of their freshmen year after a string of crazy chances. Like all good friendships theirs was build on food and Mario Kart.

Kristi and Sam have been friends since the eight grade when they both forgot their homework and had their printers break on the same day.

Ryan is a wild child with a great heart. Lauren met him early in college when they were put on a team together and quickly realized how hardworking, kind, and goofy he was. When Sam met Ryan they quickly became friends with their shared love of roasting each other.

Ryan Montgomery

Megan and Sam became friends in high school and bonded over their love of tennis. Megan has just recently graduated from vet school and is starting her work in Austin.

Megan Donovan

Erin was Lauren's freshman year Aggie potluck roommate. She is amazingly kind and smart, and Lauren would not have made it through college or life without her. If anyone wants to be friends with her,  just ask her about her cat Sukie.

Erin Harmon

Ashleigh was Lauren's college roommate. She is a wonderful person and spends almost as much time making herself laugh as she spends cracking everyone else up. She is someone you can't help but smile around.

Emily and Lauren were the same college major where Emily spent a lot of time saving Lauren's butt on group projects. She is someone you want in your corner and is so intelligent and up front about who she is. (Which is pretty dang perfect.)

Emily Ferguson

Joey is THE life of the party. Lauren met him through a college org and never let go. He knows something about everything and makes everyone around him feel important. At the wedding you can probably find him on the dance floor.

Robert and Sam met on the bus ride to Fish Camp for their freshman year of college, where they quickly became fast friends.
