Dylan and Lauren met in college. Its similar to many stories. He was a boy. She was a girl. Can I make it anymore obvious..? Lauren met Dylan her sophomore year of College. Dylan was a senior. Dylan’s roommate was dating Lauren's roommate at the time and were introduced to each other through them. There were numerous nights where Dylan and Lauren would find themselves staying up until the butt crack of dawn talking about every subject known to man. After around a week of learning everything about each other, they were inseparable. It was springtime of Dylan's last year at Culver Stockton College and as a sophomore, this worried Lauren. She treasured their relationship and worried that with time, like many things, this relationship, would fade come summer time. Dylan was set up to travel to Miami for a long sought out baseball league that could open the doors to a future in baseball for him. Though he was excited, he too dreaded the distance it would put between them. The closer summer approached, the closer they got and more they grew together as a couple. Lauren decided she would rent a house in Canton, MO to stay and train for cross county and be able to stay near her friends made at Culver Stockton. A few days prior to Dylan setting off on his baseball journey to Miami, he had slightly injured his shoulder. He asked Lauren many times if she thought he should stay back with her or go to Miami. Lauren, although she wanted him there with her, never hindered his dreams and encouraged him to go play baseball and grow in his dream. Dylan decided then, to choose Lauren. He had never before put a woman before his love of baseball and at that point knew he wanted to stay with her and take on life together. From that point on, they have worked to put each other first and support each other in all endeavors. They have been together 5 years now and will have spent 6 years together by the time of their wedding. Though Lauren and Dylan by no means have had an easy or flawless relationship, they have put each other first and decided together to continue to do so forever. Together, life's battles seem easier and though challenges come and go, neither of them could imagine doing it without the other.
