After a brief exchange of messages via Hinge, Cale and Lauren ended up on their first date at The Parlor in OKC. The evening was spent talking, laughing, and most importantly- dominating the competition at trivia night. The gift card prize prompted a second date, and the rest is history.

The past few years have been filled with travel, patio drinks, concerts, and to Lauren's shock- regular attendance of OU football games.

While Cale and Lauren share many similarities in humor, values, and goals, they have always equally enjoyed the traits they make them so different from one another, and the additions to each of their lives these differences have brought. Lauren has expanded her collection of crimson and cream clothing, Cale has added "farm shoes" to his wardrobe. Lauren has learned how to pick a mutual fund, Cale has learned how to properly clean out a horse stall.

An unexpected cancer diagnosis for Cale shortly after their engagement, postponed their original wedding plans but expedited the marriage. They cannot wait to celebrate big on June 20th, 2026!
