What elevation is Westcliffe?
The venue sits at an elevation of 8,500 feet. In order to lessen the likelihood of altitude sickness, we recommend drinking plenty of water and electrolytes before traveling. High elevation can sneak up on you—headaches, fatigue, and nausea are no fun, especially on a celebration weekend.
Is there a dress code?
Dress to celebrate in cocktail dresses & suits. Looking for wedding fit inspo? Our color palette is below if you’d like to coordinate, but please don’t feel obligated to wear these shades! Wear what makes you feel your best. Our ceremony will take place outdoors. The celebration will continue with a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces. Mountain weather can shift quickly, and evenings can get chilly—even in the summer! We recommend bringing a medium-weight jacket or wrap to stay comfortable once the sun goes down. Please make sure to wear comfortable shoes, wedge heels, or cowboy boots, as some of the terrain might be challenging in high heels. Make sure to bring sunglasses and wear sunscreen. The sun hits different at 8,500 ft!
Are kids welcome?
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. Three Peaks Ranch is a fully operational working ranch with animals, equipment, and natural terrain that can be hazardous for children. For everyone’s safety and peace of mind, we kindly ask that you make arrangements for your little ones to stay home.
Can I bring a guest?
If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes! If not, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
What time should I arrive at the venue?
More details coming soon.
If you arrive after the ceremony has started, please remain on the pavilion deck and observe quietly from there. Wait until an appropriate moment before taking a seat to avoid disrupting the ceremony.
Will transportation be provided?
Transportation will not be provided. We recommend renting a car—you’ll need it to get around, as rideshares are limited in the area. Carpool if you can!
Is there parking available at the venue?
As you arrive through the gates of Three Peaks Ranch, you’ll find two parking areas ready for you. The first lot is located to the left along the fence near the Humboldt Cabin. When parking here, please pull in facing the cabin and leave a comfortable amount of space between your car and the one next to you.
The second lot, known as the lower lot, is the grassy field you’ll see directly ahead as you pull in. You'll notice a wood fence with guest parking signs. Feel free to park on either side of the fence, again facing toward the fence, with a little breathing room between vehicles.
We kindly ask that you avoid parking directly in front of the Crestone Peak Cabin or anywhere marked with “No Parking” signs, so we can keep pathways clear and make sure everyone has easy and safe access.
Once you’ve parked, you’ll begin a short walk up to the venue. The entrance to the guest path is located between the Crestone Needle Cabin and the Crestone Peak Cabin — just look for the Welcome Sign to guide you!
From there, you’ll follow a gentle uphill gravel path. As you walk, you’ll pass by the beautiful Glass Pavilion before reaching a wooden boardwalk. The boardwalk will lead you directly into the heart of the event space where the celebration awaits.
If you need any assistance getting up to the venue, a Three Peaks Ranch staff member will be nearby and happy to help.
Are there hotel room blocks available for guests?
We do not have a hotel room block. The wedding will take place at Three Peaks Ranch in the town of Westcliffe, Colorado. Be sure to plan ahead, as cabins and accommodations tend to fill up quickly during the summer months. We have linked some recommendations on our wedding website for lodging and would recommend Airbnb, VRBO or boutique hotels in or near town.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP through our wedding website on The Knot by Monday, April 6, 2026.
Do you have a wedding registry?
Yes you can find this on our wedding website.
Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?
Both the ceremony and reception spaces are wheelchair accessible. If a wheelchair ramp is needed for the reception pavilion, please let us know in advance so the venue can have it set up ahead of time. While the site is accessible, please note that the path to the ceremony area includes a slope and a short gravel section leading to the restrooms.
Will dinner be served at the reception?
Guests will be welcomed with passed hors d’oeuvres alongside a tater tot bar. Appetizers include bison meatballs with wild mushroom sauce and Palisade peach and honey goat cheese crostini (V).
Dinner will be served buffet-style and features a spring mix salad with champagne vinaigrette (GF, VG), butter herb rolls (V), burrata ravioli with roasted corn velouté, green chilies, and crispy shallots (V), grilled vegetables (GF, VG), trout with beurre blanc (GF), and dijon chicken (GF).
Dessert will include cupcakes and a ice cream sundae bar with assorted flavors and toppings.
Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or special diet options available?
Food items will be labeled V, VG, or GF for guidance. Please note any dietary restrictions on your RSVP, so we can try to accommodate.
Will there be an open bar?
We will be serving the groom’s signature non-alcoholic drink, ’Til (Liquid) Death Do Us Part, along with the bride’s signature cocktail, a West Texas Chilton. Beer options include Michelob ULTRA and Avery White Rascal, in addition to a selection of red and white wine. Unsweetened iced tea and water will also be available.
Please bring a valid ID, as guests may be asked to show proof of age. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us follow venue policies.
Venue Friendly Reminders
Walking Paths
For your safety and the smooth flow of the day, please stay on the marked walking paths throughout the ranch. These paths are designed to guide you safely between parking, the venue, and common areas. We kindly ask that guests do not walk up the vendor access road, as vehicles and heavy equipment may be in use during event setup and breakdown. Staying on the designated paths helps us keep everyone safe and the event running smoothly.
Smoking
Smoking is allowed only in the designated smoking area. Please refrain from smoking elsewhere on the ranch. Please be aware that due to fire restrictions, smoking may be prohibited if we are in a Stage 2 or higher fire ban.
Glass Pavilion Etiquette
Our floor-to-ceiling glass walls offer breathtaking views — thank you for helping us keep them clear and protected. For both your safety and the care of the structure, we kindly ask that guests do not lean themselves, drinks, or other items against the glass walls at any time. These panels are durable but sensitive, and we want to ensure they remain pristine and that no one is accidentally injured.
Animals & Livestock
While we love sharing the ranch with our animals, guests are not permitted to enter the pastures or paddocks or feed the livestock at any time — for your safety and theirs. Please feel free to pet and take pictures of the animals if they come up to the fence, they love the attention!
Violations
Any guest who does not adhere to these guidelines may be asked to leave the property. Thank you for helping us protect this space for everyone to enjoy.
