In the autumn of 2022, Jimmy and Lauren’s paths crossed while Jimmy was on a work trip to sunny Florida. United by their shared faith in Jesus Christ, an instant connection sparked between them. Despite the distance, Jimmy embarked on a two-hour drive to meet Lauren for their first date. Their connection was so undeniable that they squeezed in a second date right before Jimmy had to embark on a 15-hour journey back to St. Louis. Their romance blossomed through a series of FaceTime dates, bridging the gap between them. Barely a month had passed before Jimmy found himself on a flight back to Florida, eager to see Lauren. It was during this heartfelt reunion that they decided to make their relationship official and bravely committed to a long-distance relationship. The following ten months were a whirlwind of flights and fond memories as they traveled back and forth to see each other. Their commitment never wavered, and Jimmy made the big move to Orlando to be with Lauren as a testament to their bond. A year from when it all began, Jimmy planned the perfect proposal at Bok Tower Gardens on a beautiful afternoon. He thought of every detail: coordinating with Lauren’s friends for a surprise nail appointment and even hiring her sorority sister as the photographer to capture the moment. They basked in their love with a romantic picnic, reliving the journey that brought them here, followed by dinner at the place where their love story as a couple began. Today, Jimmy and Lauren are overjoyed and grateful for this new chapter in their lives. They eagerly anticipate the adventures that await them and their hearts are warmed by the love and support of family and friends like you, who have been an integral part of their love story. Thank you for sharing in their joy and for being part of their journey towards a future filled with love.

Orlando International Airport is the closest airport near Jimmy and Lauren. It is approximately 40 minutes from their wedding venue.

Orlando International Airport

This is the only airport that Allegiant Air flies into. It is a small regional airport and is approximately 45-60 minutes from our wedding venue. Unless you are particularly loyal to Allegiant, we recommend flying into Orlando International Airport instead, but it is an option.

Orlando Sanford International Airport

This hotel is approximately 10 minutes from our wedding venue. It is located on a busy highway, so we wouldn't recommend walking, but many restaurants are close by. In fact, our favorite local ice cream shop, West Orange Creamery and Soda Fountain, is across the street! They hand make their waffle cones hot with each order!

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Orlando Ocoee

This is a brand new hotel is in a safe location with restaurants within walking distance. It is less than 10 minutes from Walt Disney World Resort, and 20 minutes from our wedding venue. This hotel is in the same plaza as Homewood Suites at Flamingo Crossings and Fairfield Inn &amp; Suites at Flamingo Crossings. It is directly across the street from SpringHill Suites Orlando at Flamingo Crossings and TownPlace Suites Orlando at Flamingo Crossings.

A historic B&amp;B style hotel built in 1927. Walking distance to historic downtown Winter Garden, which is filled with quaint shops and eateries, and is 5 minutes from our wedding venue.*we recommend looking at photos before booking this one so you understand what you are signing up for!*

The Edgewater Hotel B&B Style Inn (Winter Garden)

If you love golf, this is a great option for you! The property features 2 championship courses &amp; a 9-hole course. This is nestled in a very safe suburban location approximately 15 minutes from our wedding venue. You will need a car or rideshare to access local restaurants and shops, but there are many within a 5-10 minute driving radius.P.S. the rooms are ugly.

A favorite of Jimmy and Lauren's, Southern Hill Farms is a pick-your-own seasonal produce farm that features weekend events with food trucks &amp; live music.

Located only 5 minutes from our wedding venue, historic downtown Winter Garden is filled with quaint shops and eateries! Our favorite restaurant is The Whole Enchilada; a counter-service Mexican restaurant with a rooftop lounge area. We also enjoy Three Birds Cafe for brunch and Harrell's Hot Dogs + Cold Cones for lunch!*We recommend visiting in the daylight/evening. The area is very safe during the day but can get a little questionable at night.*

Downtown Winter Garden

Bok Tower Gardens is a 250-acre contemplative garden and bird sanctuary located atop Iron Mountain. This is where Jimmy and Lauren got engaged!

Important Driving Information

Because our reception venue is inside of a gated community, you will need to pass through a security gate and show photo ID. Apple Maps defaults to a route from West Orlando Baptist Church to Stoneybrook West Town Center that will not allow security access. Please see the important information below to ensure you do not get lost and are able to access the correct security gates.
