Sisters
Host to all the wedding weekend festivities, Sisters is a one-roundabout town with western flair. The main-drag is lined with small mom-and-pop shops, plenty of restaurants, and easy access to hiking trials. Be sure to check out The Hen's Tooth, Lauren's very first employer!
Bend
Where Lauren & Sean live, Bend will have the most lodging, dining, and activity options! A quick 30 minute drive from the wedding venue. We'd recommend staying in Bend if you have a little extra time and are interested in activities outside of wedding festivities.
Both towns are big summer vacation destinations so we recommend booking lodging early! Vacation rentals (Air BnB or VRBO) are often the most cost effective dependent on group size. The lists below are by no means exhaustive but will provide a good idea of average cost and ideal locations in each town.
Getting Here
Air Travel
The Bend/Redmond airport (RDM) is your best (and only) airport option in Central Oregon. Located about 30 minutes from both Bend and Sisters. RDM is served by American Airlines, Alaska Air, Avelo Airlines, Delta Airlines, and United Airlines. In-terminal rental car service is available as well as Uber, Lyft, and airport shuttle services.
Portland International Airport (PDX) is the largest airport in Oregon and a 3 hour drive from Bend/Sisters.
Once You're Here
We recommend renting a car if you're staying in Bend and/or planning to do any outdoor adventures (hiking, fishing, etc). Uber/Lyft are available and do run to the wedding venue from Bend and Sisters, estimate the cost of your ride here.
Lodging in Sisters
If you choose to stay in Sisters we've listed some recommendations below. There are many cute vacation rental options as well! If you go the Air BnB/VRBO route we recommend looking for places in downtown Sisters or out at Black Butte.

Black Butte Ranch
Situated on a golf course and 15 minute drive to the venue, Black Butte Ranch has both homes and condos available. You can book direct (the link below) or through VRBO.
Lodging in Bend
Bend will have a host of big name hotel chains to choose from if you gotta get those points (Fellow business travelers, no? okay.) as well as some fun kitschier options.
Look for hotels or vacation rentals near Downtown or The Old Mill for the most walkable options to restaurants and activities!

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bend South, an IHG Hotel
Close to our house! This isn't the most touristy area of town but the hotel was built recently. It is clean, modern, and likely more budget friendly.
Campfire Hotel
A fun and unique option, Campfire Hotel isn't exactly downtown but it's definitely not far! The hotel hosts Diva Drag Brunch and Canteen Karaoke if those are your vibes, this is your place.
