Like many couples in this newer age of online dating, Jeffrey and Lauren matched on an online dating site. They started chatting over text messages, phone calls, and late nights of playing online video games. They immediately hit it off, and decided to meet for their first date in person at Dave and Busters on August 24th, 2019, eating, chatting, and playing video games for hours while enjoying each others company.
This was only the beginning of many outings together, from the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival, to game nights with friends,Kennywoods "Fright Night", an AJR Concert, Reptile Expos, and many dinner dates. Many late nights were spent together playing video games or watching movies, then talking until the very early hours of the morning, neither one ever wanting to leave to go home.
With the arrival of Covid-19, they began quarantining together, and on April 12th, 2020, during the rise of the pandemic, Jeffrey "popped the question" with the help of a scrapbook he had made to document their journey as a couple.
Lauren and Jeff can't wait to become husband and wife, and celebrate their special day in whatever form they can with the ones they love and care about!
