Once upon a time we were just two 30-something’s swiping on dating apps and hoping for the best. Well, we swiped right and started talking. We met in person on Labor Day of 2019. It was a bit late for a date on a school night, but Lauren thought it was worth a try and Matt made the long drive from the River House in Maryland to meet Lauren that night.

What started as a casual swipe on a dating app and a spontaneous date on a late summer night has turned into a whole new direction in life. Since then there have been ups and downs, lots of adventures, and boat rides. We are excited to take the next step in our relationship and are so happy to have so many wonderful people to share the day with. We hope you can come to celebrate with us!
