Lauren and Hudson met in 2020 in Wilmington, Ohio and were co-workers first and then friends. Over the course of their friendship they shared dreams and plans for the future and realized they had more in common than they had ever dreamed.

With the foundation of friendship, romance grew and Hudson invited Lauren for a night out in Columbus with a group of friends where they decided to give this crazy thing called love a shot.

After a bit of time Lauren and Hudson moved to Des Moines, IA to start a new adventure together while working and spending time with Lauren's Iowa family. During this time together they adopted their rambunctious Labradoodle, Pops, who is as ornery as he is cuddly and always keeps them on their toes.

During a semi-annual trip to visit family in Ohio, Hudson got on one knee and popped the BIG question, with the help of his Best Woman and sister Harlie (love ya girlie!). Hudson planned a fun evening filled with mini-golf and one of our favorite activities, fast food in the car (charmingly dubbed

car dates), and proposed under the star filled sky at their family home in Sunbury, OH, and the rest is confetti!
