A testimony to Bumble, Lauren swiped right when she saw Jon holding a goat from goat yoga (green flag). As Lauren opened the conversation, Jon took the opportunity to sweep her off her feet asking about her forklift certification. The two had their first date at Three Birds Café, which doesn't serve mimosas before 11:00 am much to their dismay. So they had to start a first date with absolutely zero alcohol and completely sober.

After that first date, Lauren tested positive for strep and was miserable while Jon was galivanting in Puerto Rico for work. But Jon was Lauren's knight in shining armor by DoorDashing soup to help make her feel better. She couldn't eat it due to the chicken stock, but it was the thought that counts...right?

The two quickly saw that they were brought together through the world of dating apps for a reason. Jon even took Lauren to the Gator Bowl where he had to yell "Go cocks!" emphatically to support Lauren's alma mater. It was at that very game they drunkenly professed their love for one another after many, many White Claws. Shout out to the lady who thought it was a proposal. So even though the Gamecocks lost, Jon and Lauren won each other.

Jon excitedly asked Lauren to go to a wedding in Maine that upcoming July (shoutout to Shawn and Carly). To vet Jon and make sure Lauren wasn't going away with some weirdo, Lauren did what any sane person would do: she had him enroll for TSA pre-check. Jon passed with flying colors and Lauren was assured Jon had committed no felonies.

Then we come to the chapter of our story where Lauren needed to find a new place to live that wasn't her severely overpriced complex. Discussed in a Trader Joe's parking lot, the two decided "why not?" and started to look for a home together. Through the grueling Florida sun, they avoided minimal melt downs throughout the move.

So this fairytale has now come to a climax: what is to become of Lauren and Jon's fate? Well, Lauren had drunkenly given Jon the exact specifications for an engagement ring (with screen shots and what stone, the whole nine yards) during a date. Jon being the smart man that he is listened and ordered the perfect ring. Well, Jon then drunkenly told Lauren that he ordered the ring and the excitement began. But where would this momentous occasion occur?

You see, dear reader, Lauren is one of those weird crystal and Halloween girls. While up north for the wedding they planned a side trip to Salem, MA. It was perfect, Lauren had her nails done and everything. Jon somewhat blacked out, but still managed to ask "Will you marry me?" and Lauren was able to say "yes!" through all the sobbing. The eyeliner and mascara held up great, thanks Loreal.

So now leads to this, a day they are looking forward to celebrating with friends and family from all over. With the help of Dora, Kiwi, and Oliver, they will craft the perfect day to celebrate their love.
