Through her eyes:It all started when I spotted him in the hallway in the seventh grade! I thought to myself, "that kid is so cute", but he was too "cool" to talk to the shy, quiet girl. It wasn't until our Freshman year at Fossil Ridge High School that we would meet again. Shane had just gotten done playing a basketball game when he noticed me for the first time. After being a typical high school boy, messing with me and doing whatever he could to get my attention, he took my phone and saved his number in it as Themanilove.... Cheesy, I know!... A month or so later is when I decided to make use of that number, so I sent him a text. On January 17, 2008 I was sitting in Biology class when I got a text message read, "Will you go out with me?". The amount of high-school-girl-giddiness was unreal. Shane and I are the true definition of high school sweethearts!In 2011, we both attended college at Texas A&amp;M University- Commerce, where we accomplished a whole new level in our relationship. We experienced responsibility, hardship, roommates-from-hell, freedom, joy, and so much more. On July 4th, 2014 Shane popped the question when we were thousands of feet above ground in a HOT AIR BALLON! It was one of the most memorable times we have shared for many reasons. Shane and I have made it through the many obstacles life has thrown our way. We have grown strong in our friendship, and even more so in our relationship. We are the best of friends and great partners. To this day and forevermore, he will remain as "Themanilove" in my phone. Through his eyes: When I first met Lauren, we were very young. She just amazed me with everything she did for me and anyone that came to know her. She is always there to make the day better and help with any situation. As the years went on, we have grown through all of the stages during high school and college, hand in hand. We have only grown as a stronger team and nothing can stop us now. Lauren and I actually met in seventh grade and before that we went trick-or-treating together when we were kids. It is truly destiny that we got to know one another. The first time I saw Lauren, our freshman year of high school, she took my breath away. I knew from that early on she was going to be the one for me. A great memory is at one of my basketball games in high school, I went up for a rebound and I somehow lost my shoe. I always remember how funny she thought that moment was. I love that memory because it shows how silly she can be. That is just one out of the many crazy memories we have shared together. We have had some fun and crazy times throughout our relationship and I couldn't ask for anyone better to spend the rest of my life with. Of course we've had our differences, but we learned how to work through them and it has made us stronger as a couple. I can't even imagine my life without Lauren, she completes me in every way possible. She has always been my number one fan backing me with everything I do. I can't wait for October 14th, 2017 and for us to officially start our lives together. #HappilyEverThompson

Christina is the first of my baby sisters and one of my most best of friends. She loves brownies and being a mommy to my first ever nephew, Leo. She always makes me jealous because SHE ALWAYS LOOKS GOOD!! Christina has the sweetest soul and gives her whole heart to everyone.

Trey, or as Shane would say.. Sir Ronald Marks the Third, is Shane's best man. Even though they have known each other the least amount of time, Trey has become one of Shane's best friends. They met playing football at Texas A&amp;M University - Commerce. Trey is a true gentle giant who loves to fish and drink beer. He is always down and ready to have a good time. Anything Shane need, he is the first one to offer to help. Trey is shy but once you get to know him, you find a great and funny guy.

Drake is my brother-in-law &amp; soon to be Shane's, even though he already considers him his brother. If you are looking for a good time, Drake is the one to bring it. Whether its hanging out at Club D&amp;T, cruising around on the mini-bike, or performing magic card tricks, Drake is sure to provide entertainment. He is always there for everyone and is honestly one of the hardest workers we have ever met.

Gabrielle is my youngest baby sisters and my other most best friend. She loves adventure, people, and dogs, especially! Gabrielle definitely knows how to have fun and make everyone around her feel included. She is the care-free spirit that everyone needs in their life.

Ashley is one of  my closest friends. We met while working together in the Financial Aid Office at Texas A&amp;M University - Commerce, where she was completing her Masters Degree. Ashley loves fashion and politics. She is definitely one of the smartest, yet best dressed person I know!

Trevor is one Shane's first good friends from Texas A&amp;M University- Commerce, where they played football together for the Lions. Trevor is one of the funniest guys we have met. With all his movie quotes and impersonations, he is sure to make anyone laugh.

Chelsea is one of my oldest and dearest friends. We met my freshman year at Texas A&amp;M University - Commerce through a mutual friend. Little did we know, we actually grew up literally down the road from each other before college. Chelsea is the most caring person, she always tries to find the good in things and makes everyone around her smile.

Jordan is one of Shane's oldest friends, his Hawaiian brother. They met, yet again, on the football team for Texas A&amp;M University - Commerce. On top of being a master at ping pong,  Jordan loves to sing, dance, and just have a great time.  He has always had Shane's back from the first day they met. There is never a dull moment when he is around.

Little Miss Trinley is Shane's niece. Trinley is a little spit-fire, who brings sass everywhere she goes. Her interests change constantly but her soul remains pure and sweet.

Joey is Shane's nephew. Joey is the most down to earth kid you will ever meet. He loves spider-man and learning new things. Joey has the sweetest soul and is kind to everyone he meets.

Leo is Lauren's first ever nephew and he is the sweetest baby ever. Leo loves snuggles, milk, and making funny faces when he sleeps.

Unfortunately, the recommended hotels do not provide transportation &amp; our wedding will consist of alcohol consumption. Although, all of the recommended hotels are under 5 miles away from the venue, Shane and I would like to advise everyone 2 options:1)Please take advantage of Uber or a taxi service. It is an extremely helpful, safe, &amp; convenient means of transportation.2) If you plan to drive: Please, either drink responsibly or have a designated driver! We love each and every one of you dearly, and cannot imagine anything happening to you. Please, enjoy yourselves, drink, but do so responsibly!
