Our love story!

We started dating 5 years ago when we were a junior and sophomore in high school. We had known of one another for longer than we remember. We both went to the same school but were in different grades so we didn't cross paths too often. Fast forward, Lauren started going to Dawson Street Baptist Church where Austin had grown up going. We began our friendship in youth group and it was nothing more than that for awhile. If you ask Austin he will admit he always had a thing for Lauren but never thought anything would come of it. Lauren eventually noticed the cute boy across the youth room. He was kind, sweet, funny, Christian, played football, and was always someone easy to get along with. What more could a girl in high school ask for?! Lauren convinced Austin she wanted to learn how to deer hunt one day (my way of hanging out with Austin). Austin happily took her up on the offer; they have been inseparable ever since! Fun fact- The day we got engaged, after 5 years, Lauren finally shot her first deer! Lauren seriously had no idea when she got her first buck how much a deer would end up meaning to her. We are seriously each other's best friends. We enjoy riding horses together, cooking, taking care of our child (Austin's horse, Dagger haha), watching a good TV show, and spending time with our friends. Whatever we find ourselves doing in a day, we make the most of it and enjoy being in each other's presence. We are so excited to finally embark on this next adventure as Husband and Wife. We cannot wait to have all of our people there to celebrate!
