We met at Taylor University when Jake was a freshman and Lauren was a sophomore. We met through what is called "bro-sis", which meant that our individual wings were paired together for fun activities, fellowship and friendship throughout our time at Taylor. These photos are from one of our very first bro-sis events together! Over the course of fall semester 2020, we grew closer and we started dating in January of 2021.

On March 5, 2023, we got engaged! Jake took Lauren to a park near Taylor and showed her a photo book he had made of their time together, and then proposed! It was such a meaningful and special day, and we are thankful for the love and support we have received in our engagement. We both truly view our relationship as a gift from the Lord. We are so thankful for His hand in our lives and our relationship, and we are so excited to see what the future holds for us together!
