Lauren and Jordan spent nearly two years together before becoming engaged. They went on many dates, and took a few trips together (Estes Park, Seal Beach, Lake Tahoe, and Abingdon). They had discussed marriage a few times, and even had Lauren get her ring size in early 2024.

Lauren and Jordan had been planning a summer vacation for quite a while, and the two eventually decided on Myrtle Beach. Before the trip, Jordan received permission from Lauren's parents to propose. He then made a secret purchase about 7 weeks before the trip. Of course they flew Delta, and Jordan had also secretly upgraded their plane tickets for the trip.

On their first day at Myrtle Beach, Lauren was surprised when Jordan pulled out the ring and asked her to marry him (Well, that's not exactly accurate since she said yes before he even asked...).

Lauren and Jordan got engaged on May 19th, 2024 at the Marriott Myrtle Beach Resort & Spa at Grand Dunes.

It is fitting that Lauren and Jordan decided to get married at the Glacial Till Vineyard. It was, after all, supposed to be the site of their first date!

Instead of their first date, Glacial Till will play host as the site for Lauren and Jordan's wedding and reception on October 18th, 2025. Although it won't be where Lauren and Jordan had their first date (as Jordan had originally planned), Glacial Till will help to kickoff the start of their lives together, as one.

Besides, having a first date at the zoo is better anyway. ✌️
