How we met Lauren’s POV: Darren and I met for the very first time at my junior prom. I was very oblivious as I had no idea we went to the same pre-party let alone notice we were in the same limo. At the dance, it was his crazy cool dancing skills that caught my eye… so cool that I ditched my original date. We danced the night away and I definitely did not lose my shoes.

Hitting it off from there, we started on a journey together that was filled with countless moments of joy, laughter, and even a few tears. Through ups and downs, lefts and rights, we stuck by each other's side. High school flew by in a blur as Lauren finished her last year. And as we transitioned into college, we walked independently for a short while, finding out more about ourselves and eventually finding each other again.

As the years went on we saw each other grow up. Our love deepened with each passing year, overcoming all of life's crazy shenanigans. Ten years later, on new years eve we got engaged promising to continue cherishing and supporting each other for all the years to come.
