How We Met:

Jeremy and I met in College at Tarleton State University in 2011. From the first night I met Jeremy I immediately knew there was something special about him, that I had never felt about anyone else before. I knew that he was THE ONE (and we didn't even know each other). My friends thought I was crazy, but I just KNEW! After we both had our College fun the first two years, Jeremy and I always hung out with the same friend group and he eventually asked me out on our first date on Valentines Day. Ever since then we have been inseparable. Over the years we have brought each other so much adventure, laughs, happiness, and most importantly Love. I thank God everyday for bringing us both to Stephenville, Texas.

Engagement Story:

Jeremy and I were planning to Study Abroad in Europe together our Senior year of College, and unfortunately Jeremy got stuck as the third person on a waiting list and I was able to attend the trip. We both thought there was no way he was going to be able to go and were really bummed about it, but Jeremy's mom continued to pray and pray and just knew that God had a plan and if Jeremy was supposed to go on that trip that he would. Months went by and Jeremy still hadn't gotten any information and just assumed it was a lost cause. Then one day, two months before the trip departure he got the email asking if he still wanted to go to Europe. His family made sure that he was able to attend and they knew at that moment that this was where the proposal had to happen. I on the other hand didn't even expect it to happen considering he had to come up with the money for the trip within only two months, so I just thought there was NO WAY that could ever be possible. We left for our trip in December after spending Christmas with our Families, and 3 days later on New Years Eve Jeremy had planned the proposal. We were enjoying New Years Eve in Rome with all of the students in our Study abroad group, and right before midnight we went to "take our picture" in front of a HUGE (and real live) Christmas Tree and there was a monument behind us nicknamed "The Wedding Cake". I looked over and Jeremy was down on one knee and I was in complete shock! All of the students with us knew and helped him along the way, they had champagne for all of us to celebrate and It was just such an incredible memory that neither of us will ever forget.
