Jason and Laurie met online. Lauries sister Dawn asked for help about the computer on an AOL chat room and Jason answered her. They were chatting one day and Dawn was helping Lacey make cookies and asked Laurie to chat with her friend Jason. Laurie and Jason chatted for 7-8 months and Laurie decided it was time for them to meet in person. Jason lived in Detroit and Laurie lived in Seattle. Laurie bought a plane ticket for Jason to come visit for her birthday. She did buy him a round trip ticket however they were already in love and he decided to stay in Seattle. Fast forward 22 years later they have moved from Seattle to Nashville to be near Lacey, Alex and now 3 grandchildren. Now they are finally getting married.
