Find answers to your most pressing questions here! Keep checking back as we get closer, as we'll be adding more information.
Are children invited?
While we adore your little ones, we're keeping our wedding an adults-only event and can only accomodate family children at this time. We hope you'll use this as a night out to cut loose with us on the dance floor!
I am driving in. Where should I park?
If driving to the ceremony at the church, there is a parking lot adjacent to the church. An attendant will be on hand to help guide you to a spot. Parking in this lot is free! It has plenty of space for our guests, but if necessary, other city parking lots are located nearby where you can park for a fee.
If driving to the reception venue, valet parking is offered. Your car will be parked in the venue's designated parking lot right outside the front entrance, or an overflow lot.
If parking at the hotel, there is a $10 fee for self-parking. They have a large lot with plenty of spots!
Is there transportation to and from the venue?
Yes, we will have a shuttle between our hotel and the reception venue. The front desk at the hotel will have more information about this service.
What can I expect from the ceremony?
Our wedding will be a Catholic ceremony, but it will not be a full Catholic Mass. We will have the traditional exchanging of vows, along with Old and New Testament readings as part of the Liturgy of the Word. No Eucharist/communion will be served at the wedding ceremony. A program will be provided to you as you enter the church which will have more information and guidance on the order of the service!
What should I do between the ceremony and the reception?
Like most Catholic weddings, there will be a "gap" in between the ceremony and the start of the reception. We recommend checking into the hotel and/or checking out a local site in between events as the venue will not open their doors for the reception until 5:00. Check out our "Things To Do" section for our suggested spots!
What is the dress code?
Our dress code is semi-formal! Suits and nice dresses are a great way to go.
The bridesmaids will be wearing lavender, but we don't have a specific color palette for our guests!
I have a dietary restriction or food allergy. How can I let your caterer know?
When it comes time to RSVP, there will be a field to fill out any dietary restrictions you may have. Our caterer will be happy to accomodate.
